GABIONS

Gabions are used for environmental rehabilitation, erosion, embankment support structures, canals weirs, dams and river groynes in any environment and in all climatic conditions.

• Manufactured from either fully galvanised or galfan wire (zinc/aluminium).
• If required, a PVC coating can be applied over the galvanised wire to provide added protection for use in aggressive corrosive environments, where acidic soils or water conditions exist.
• To reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are strengthened with thicker wire.
• The gabions are divided into cells by means of diaphragms positioned at approximately 1m centres.

SHEPHERDS CROOKS

Shepherds’ Crooks (grout rods) are manufactured to clients’ specifications in a variety of arm lengths to meet the specified requirements.

• Manufactured in smooth or deformed steel, conforming to the requirements of SAMS 920
• Slightly elongated eye to prevent excess stress during the forming process
• Conformance control
